• Wear a thin base layer — like a fine cotton camisole or bralette — underneath if you're wearing your corset for a full day. This protects the corset lining from body oils and perspiration.
• Don't tug at the neckline or hem when putting it on. Take your time, slip it over carefully, and adjust the fit once it's fully on.
• Avoid heavy perfume or oil sprays directly on the fabric. Spray your body first, let it dry, then dress.
